ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF EACH PUPIL

 (Gatsby Benchmark 3)

Pupils have different career guidance needs at different stages. Opportunities for advice and support need to be tailored to the needs of each pupil. A school’s careers programme should embed equality and diversity considerations throughout’ Gatsby Framework

It is essential that all of our pupils are fully aware of the range of opportunities available to them. Pupils may be considering an Apprenticeship, Traineeship, Further / Higher Education or working with a local Training provider.  Whatever their aspirations, we make sure all pupils understand how to access information to progress to the next level of their education, training or employment.

Careers Fair 2024

Our annual Careers Fair will take place on Thursday 1st November 2024.  All pupils in the school will have access to the fair which will host over 20 local employers, training providers and representatives from Further/Higher Education.

Parents are welcome to attend from 3.30pm – 4.00pm.

Impartial Careers Advice and Support

Pupils in Year 11 and 12 are all provided with an individual careers interview with our on sire careers advisor.  Other pupils from other year groups can request their own careers interview by completing the request form located in the main school library.
