Congratulations to our Year 13 Students

We celebrate the results of our Year 13 students, who should rightly be proud of their achievements. They have shown real resilience and determination despite the disruption caused by the pandemic during crucial years of their education. This summer was all the more challenging due to their examinations being the first set of external exams they had ever sat.

A good number of students achieved all A and A* grades at A Level, while many achieved equally commendable grades at different levels. Our Applied and Technical students also achieved extremely well, with a huge number of Distinction and Distinction* grades.

We wish our young people well as they embark on their next steps. Students are heading off to university at a range of institutions, both in the North East and nationally, including a very good proportion of top universities, including Oxbridge. We also send our best to those students who have secured some excellent apprenticeships or employment opportunities instead of further study.

Well done, and we wish you all the very best for the future.
